Hi Stephen, we are aware the COVIDSafe app may disrupt some Bluetooth devices. We have designed the app to eliminate common disruption issues. For technical support, please contact support@covidsafe.gov.au

I've looked through the source code extensively, and cannot see anything to suggest they have done this. It doesn't even mean anything. @healthgovau are you just making things up on the internet? https://t.co/dedfdeDe1K

@covidsafewatch (iOS 13.4.1 user) one thing I’ve noticed is that when the app has Bluetooth permissions granted, any BLE compatible device such as an already chest strap HR Monitor does not pair with the phone, and when you turn off the same permissions, it picks up the signal.

@covidsafewatch - Have noticed that since installing COVIDsafe app my iPhone (IOS 13.4.1) has trouble connecting to other Bluetooth devices - well actually just about all my devices, headphones, car and activity tracker

I noticed my Apple Watch kept disconnecting from my phone. As soon as I killed Covidsafe it worked again. Huh.
